Incredible pictures, and very good writing too! So happy to hear things are working out for you so well. A huge adventure and you get paid for it. I remember when "The Count" burned those churches, it was such a terrible waste. Looks like steep roofs were designed for snow loading, but the church ornamentation is wonderful. Hard to believe that 30 of them made for 800 years. That is such a long time for wood and fasteners to hold together. Incredible.
