Lovely weekend

Bergen has had early snowfall, followed by a beautiful weekend. Ed and I took the camera out today, thanks to David's nudge. Here's snow-capped Ulriken, with Floyen on the left. If you can zoom in on the pedestrian street on the lower right, you see strings of pink bras hung like Christmas decorations. That's from the cancer association, for breast cancer awareness month.

The cold snap wasn't deep enough or long enough to really bring out the colors yet, but the snap in the air, the rustle of leaves underfoot, and the occasional colorful tree made for a great outing.
On the way to Nordnes Park, with the other walkers, both 2 and 4-legged.

Ed has a task to do today. He has to measure his urine output. I'm not laughing, honest! Yesterday we bought a measuring beaker, but the trick was going to be remembering to use it when his eyes weren't even open yet first thing in the morning. Here's his solution.

Dear Norwegian friends, this is NOT a political statement. It's a handy brightly-colored eye-opener. It worked, too.

If Ed's eyes aren't open and stiil coming out of sleepy daze then there's no way he will get any in the jug LOL. Suppose I have been known to shave by feel under such circumstances but then what happens if ........no don't even go there LOL

    Now smiling happily
