MAMMA MIA! What a weekend.

Ed and I had a great evening Friday night. We saw Mamma Mia! at Vestlandshallen, a sports arena about the size of the Tacoma Dome. It was a great show. ABBA songs are so much fun!
Afterwards, we went out to eat fajitas at the Harbor restaurant. They were very delicious. Ed's appetite is just fine, thank you. There are a few things he can't eat anymore, but nothing serious. He is still cooking great meals, and keeping his weight steady. For a miracle, my weight is holding steady, too!

The North Sea Trail
Sunday, we took the bus back to the North Sea Trail and the museum at Tælavåg. All the way out there, the weather gods were fighting, so we got snow, rain, sun, and again snow, rain, and sun. When we walked up the drive to the museum, it was snowing on us, but that's the last we saw of that stuff! After a lunch break, it was wonderful hiking weather, crisp with the sharp winter sun picking out the colors in the rocks, ground cover, and houses. Ingrid came with us, and she laughed the whole time at how we determine which way to go. Once, Deanna told me that we argue all the time, but Ed and I have never felt that. We just challenge each other all the time. We finally got out to the sea, taking pictures all the way. Not only that, but we found our way back in time to catch the return bus. What more can you ask?

The views all the way were the sort that remind us why we love it here in Norway.

A lovely, fun weekend. Keep smiling!

  1. The water reflection is really beautiful. Great picture! Which way did you turn, go, continue, exit, enter? LOL Kidding - I know what you're talking about as we've experienced it first hand and I, like Ingrid, just have to laugh. LOL
