The first hike that was officially posted at work by our hiking club was up Veten. We did that one at the end of the summer 2010. This year, the weather was warm and sunny. We made it to the top, even with me as the anchor. I had a really tough time, and don't understand why. I even got dizzy and had to sit down a few times, plus I did a nose-plant on the way down. No blood, just chagrin.
