Entry

A quick post. I just spent 5 days redoing my entryway. Hard work, sore muscles, but I'm proud of the results! Day one: cover floor with paper, take down the crown moulding, which had even been screwed into the concrete ceiling! Day two: use rented steamer to take down big pieces of wallpaper. Blue tape everything. Day three: return steamer and spend the rest of the day taking off the little edges of wallpaper. Day four: buy paint and actually paint! Day five: paint the green part above the door and remove all the blue tape and floor paper. Touch up mistakes. Day six: put the furniture and pictures back in and run my hand lovingly over the walls.
