Prague, Czech Republic - a new adventure!

Neal, Danny and I started our vacation in Prague, a beautiful city with a sense of humor. We met Neal's friend Sarah there, and she invited her friend Reinhard. We stayed at botels - boat+hotels. Neal had booked his favorite botel from his days in the Masters program at VU. He promised Danny and me Communist era housing, but, hooray! they had remodeled during the pandemic. Danny and I were glad to hear it, Neal, not so much.

Communist fan that he is, we all visited the KGB museum. The owner showed us all sorts of ways to kill people. Everyone got to hold knives and guns and had a wonderful time!

On a more traditional tourist stop, the Prague Castle was a very nice place. The gardens and views from there are something else. From there, you can see alien babies crawling up the TV tower, especially with my binoculars.

The thing that I really wanted to show everyone was King Wenceslaus riding a dead horse. The politics of the Czech culture disappearing was right over our heads!  Both the alien babies and the dead horse pieces were by David Černý.

Besides artists with a sense of humor, they have architects with a sense of humor.
The Dancing House

The Dancing House, was designed by Vlado Milunic and Frank Gehry in 1992.
