Around the World - There and Back Again

 

Bergen's Tall Ship, Statsraad Lehmkuhl, is back home, sailors singing from the masts! Crowds ashore and boats of all sorts celebrated. Fireboats sprayed a curtain. Hey, it's not raining, we had to make up for it! King Harald was there at the dock.

The One Ocean Expedition spent 20 months circling the globe, measuring CO2, microplastics, sounds of sea life, and more. They left in Aug 2021, and today, April 15, 2023, they came home.

    Their trip must have been exciting. I watched portions of a video and was very impressed. JML
