I have not hiked on Løvstakken in *years*! When my friend, Penny, and I took advantage of a beautiful spring day to hike near her house, I was amazed at the changes. Last time, probably 10 years ago, I was with my friend Katrina and we were searching for a decent hiking route for my hiking club. Lots of bushwacking. But now! Look at the trail they have built. It's wide and flat, even lighted, with views of Bergen at every turn. There were lots of people enjoying the sunshine, walking dogs, and greeting old friends. What a complete change in atmosphere! Penny and I surprised ourselves by hiking 10-1/2 km.
